DPS Vasant Kunj strives to create lifelong readers. The school is equipped with three libraries catering to the reading needs across grades. These libraries are well stocked with books ranging from latest fiction to nonfiction, as well as supports the curriculum needs of students and staff alike.

A Block Library (Senior Wing)

The A block library caters to the students of classes X-XII. The library is well stocked with books and magazines for recreation as well as reference books to support the curriculum.

D Block Library (Junior Wing)

The D block library caters to the students of classes VI-IX. The library is divided into two floors. The first floor has ample reading space where students and staff can go to read in silence. This library too is well furnished to meet the need of the students.

B Block Library (Junior Wing)

The B block library caters to the students of classes I-V. Books are issued from grade III onwards. The younger ones come to the library during their respective classes to read. Each library also organizes activities throughout the year based on books, authors and important days of the year. This helps build interest of the students and foster a love for reading

Fashion studies lab was started with the objective of teaching students design as a creative and challenging elective. The lab has various display boards which portray the exemplary work of students such as seams, weaves, colour schemes. Croquis drawing, paper patterns, necklines, plackets, printing techniques. stencil printing, nature printing. etc. There are dress forms and a plethora of textiles used as teaching aids.There are sewing machines where students learn from concept to creation of garments.

The world would come to a standstill without the use of Maths. It is an indispensable part of our lives.In order to facilitate the children in comprehending certain abstract concepts and to transform this fundamental subject into an interesting learning experience; it is desirable that it should be brought to a concrete operational level where children can check and verify the validity of the concept through activities. This is what we are doing through setting up the Maths Café(Maths Lab) in the School.

The Maths Café at our school is well equipped and its in absolute coherence with the National Education Policy. The state of the art Maths Café has been curated to provide students with the opportunity to appreciate the beauty and relevance of mathematics which enables them to verify mathematical facts physically and to develop a multisensory approach.The lab, which was inaugurated in June 2003 by Mr. Narendra Kumar, the then Chairman, D.P.S. Society, has been transformed continuously to keep a pace with the latest methodologies. A colourful display of more than 30 logic and number puzzles along with information about great mathematicians create a concept based ambience which helps students to visualise and feel mathematics and facilitates exploration of ideas in such a way that helps students to enhance their problem solving and reasoning capacity in real life by developing their metacognitive abilities.

Various stimulating and challenging Math games and puzzles in the Maths Café focus on ‘Learning by Doing’ along with manipulatives based on various geometrical concepts. The 'Darting' game(Coordinate Geometry), Fraction Spinner, 3-D Corner(Origami) and Calcudoku are few fun-filled activities to name here; aiming at the concepts taught in classes IV onwards.Table games as 'Integer Run' (Snakes & Ladder), Reckon, Hexamate, Triangulate, Deci Strike and Calci Rush etc; encourage students to find alternative solutions and methods.

The creativity of the students is allowed free play. Teachers and students work as joint investigation teams.The lab is also equipped with computers to use technology for learning. They connect Maths with other subjects thus developing interdisciplinary thinking.

On entering, there is a colourful and panoramic view of various charts and multiple models of human anatomy. There is a plethora of model specimens used as teaching aids. We have a series of advanced Monocular microscopes for excellent visualisation and better quality images which are powered by electric field. Biology Lab has a Liquid Crystal Display(LCD) projector used as an audio visual aid and a series of Over Head Projectors powered by electric field for class room teaching and conducting various workshops / seminars. It is also very spacious and well designed with designated space for museum, faculty and library.

The school has legacy of providing hands-on practical experience to the students . To fulfill this objective ,Chemistry lab facilitates students to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills through exposure to experiments and lab apparatus. The lab is well-equipped with the latest and state of art infrastructure and apparatus which provides exposure to the students to practical aspects of Chemistry. Its size is adequate enough to accommodate a complete section at a time, with all safety measures in effect and under close supervision of competent staff .

At DPS Vasant Kunj there is a great emphasis on 'learning by doing'. School has a very spacious well-designed Physics Laboratory which provides facilities to the students to conduct various activities, experiments and projects. The well-equipped lab helps the students to develop scientific reasoning and understand scientific concepts

DPS Vasant Kunj believes in providing the best possible opportunities to its students as well as faculty to ensure consistent eminence. The IT infrastructure includes four computer laboratories, each equipped with advanced technologies:

Internet Lab

Internet Lab allows the students as well as faculty to research extensively by accessing the information on the global network during and after the school hours

Multimedia Lab

Computer learning at DPS Vasant Kunj starts right from Prep where the tiny tots get the exposure to the technology through play way method. This lab offers learning aided by sound and graphics. The Lab has Multimedia PC with all required software packages.

A-Block Lab

A Block Computer Lab caters to the students of class XI and XII learning Python and MySQL.

D-Block Lab

D Block Computer Lab facilitates the transition from IT learning through the play way method to advanced technologies like MS Office, Visual BASIC, HTML, XML and Flash.
